Industrial Minerals, Inc., (IDSM OTC:BB) is currently developing a new pilot plant at its Bissett Creek property to evaluate existing and novel technologies that can be used to not only extract graphite from the ore body, but also to preserve the very large flake as much as possible. Sufficient product will be produced by this pilot plant for market and customer evaluation. A full scale mine and mill is being designed based on current lab scale and the upcoming piloting work. The proposed plan is to sell Graphite in North America and Internationally in purity of up to 95% carbon content and in particle sizes ranging from 12 mesh and finer.
National Instrument 43-101 Compliant. The Company has now received a positive preliminary assessment on its Bissett Creek property (see press release Nov. 21, 2007.)
Resource containing 327,700 tonnes indicated and 397,900 tonnes inferred flake graphite based on NI 43-101 resource estimated on only 10% of the property.
With a projected plant capacity of 2,500 TPD (metric tonnes per day), mine life estimated at 35+ years.
Open pit recoverablies will approximate 91% of the above resources.
Approximately 70% (by weight) of product classifies at +48 mesh and larger. (Jumbo Flake)
Bissett Creek Graphite has one of the largest and purest graphite flake deposits in the world.
“On demand delivery” — 90% of the North American market is within 16 hours by truck or rail with ports nearby for international shipping.
